This week, I had a major emergency. I was treating my GSB/Border Collie mix for Giardia with Sage, but after WEEKS of treatment, he was not improving and rapidly losing weight, hair, and muscle mass. I felt like we were being failed, so I asked some friends and came straight to see Dr. Jones. She examined him thoroughly and recommended blood work. Thank goodness, because the blood work showed severely depleted blood proteins. I rushed him to the VEG to get an ultrasound, which showed major fluid leakage into his abdomen, requiring internist treatment. He is now being treated at Penn Veterinary Hospital for PLE after rushing him to their ER late last night, and is doing much better. The plan under the previous vet was to continue treating Giardia (which was not the underlying issue) and I likely wouldn't have gotten seen again for another week or more. At Penn, he has had emergency blood transfusions, biopsies, and prescription food. I cannot imagine what would have happened if I waited even a day or two more. If not for Dr. Jones at Bond, I'm not sure we would have begun treating him properly in time. I am so grateful to the team and will be continuing his care with Dr. Jones going forward.

First time here, was looking for a new local JC vet for my cat Baker. Easy to make an appointment online, they have a first visit promo, when I called & emailed to ask about sending over my pets medical records they were very quick to respond and kind. Baker is a very shy boy but the team there made him feel so welcome and calm. Prices are reasonable as well, they walk you through your itemized visit, no sneaky vet billing which sadly is hard to find. Will definitely be coming back with Baker and any of our other pets. Dr. Lauren Buchalter is by far the absolute best, most caring vet we’ve ever taken our golden retriever to. Our dog is ordinarily a little scared at the vet, but Dr. B’s energy gets Peanut relaxed right away—even when she doesn’t feel well.
